The fairway bunker on the left-hand side of the fairway must be avoided but favour this side to avoid being blocked out by the trees. With water short the ideal approach should be to the back portion of the green.

The left-hand side of the fairway is the perfect line, however do not be too safe as the creek far left can come into play. The trees will block out a drive down the right. The centre of the green is always the sensible play and being long and right can cause major difficulty.

A risk and reward driving hole where long and left leaves an easier approach, however the very brave can try and fly the trees on the right-hand side and cut the corner over the bunkers. This green has a unique, wide bent collar that will allow many shots to bounce onto the putting surface from both left and right. Take note of the slope as you may need an extra club and go at the pin.

Water all down the right-hand side. Keep left with your tee shot and your approach. A relatively short Par 5, it is advised to resist temptation to cut the corner. Your 2nd shot should also favour the left-hand side avoiding the second landing area bunkers. Your approach shot will vary significantly depending on the pin position as this green has definite sections, divided by transition slopes. You should avoid the right-hand side of the green as a ball on the right can fall quickly towards the pond.

The longest hole on the course. You must avoid the fairway bunkers from the tee and on your 2nd shot. You must decide whether to play short or try to carry the bunkers from the tee. If brave and successful you will gain yards of roll. The 2nd shot is onto the widest fairway on the course and the Manor House building is the line. You cannot see the edges of this green and you should aim for the centre as this green complex features some of the most severe run off areas on the course.

The only hole on the course without a bunker. This par 3 is guarded by the River Maigue down the right-hand side. The green has 2 definite sections, front and back. Club carefully and the bentgrass approach to a front pin is a sensible play.

Favour the left-hand side and take the fairway bunker out of play. This will also give the best view of the green for your approach. Front right of the green is the sensible play as this green falls from front to back.

A driveable Par 4 if you dare. With real risk or reward, the river will catch any stray ball right and the sizeable bunker to the left of the green can leave a nerve wracking bunker shot. The safer option is to drive just short of the cross bunker on the left. Club selection is important as this is not a long layup. A ball too far left will be blocked out by the trees. The front half of the green is the safest play.

Depending on tee box this hole can be the longest par 4 on the course. A drive down the left will feed back to the right. On the approach, a miss to the left leaves a much easier chip than a miss to the lower right, so favour the left half of the green.
