Padel Courts
One of the world’s fastest growing sports
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and those who try it tend to fall in love with it.
Sometimes described as “a mix of tennis and squash” it is an exciting racquet sport played in an enclosed walled court – one third the size of a tennis court – and with the same scoring system as tennis. Thanks to the smaller court size, even beginners find the game easy to pick up, while seasoned players can achieve dazzling feats of speed and accuracy. The more intimate size of the space also encourages conversation, making padel a particularly fun and social experience. The game is traditionally played with four people, and is suitable for players ages 6 and up.
Adare Manor’s two custom-built indoor padel courts have been designed to give every player an exceptional experience, whether you’re picking up a padel racquet for the first time or are already a keen tournament contestant. We have trained instructors available to get you started if you need some guidance, and have a range of padel racquets available, from beginner to advanced. Padel is a thrilling and fast-paced game for both players and spectators, so if you want to take a breather and sit a game out, the courts also feature bench-seating for viewing.
The Padel Courts are located in The Padel Club, a two minute walk from the Manor House.
Child policy: Padel is suitable for children aged 6 years or older. Those under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Clothing policy: Tennis shoes or athletic footwear are mandatory on the padel courts. Active wear is advised.
