The River Maigue at Adare Manor has a good stock of Wild Brown Trout. The average weight of Trout is 1lb and some up to 2 & 3 lbs. All the usual flys associated with a limestone river, including the mayfly work. In addition to the River Maigue there are two private Brown Trout lakes on the property, fish weighing up to 5 lbs have been caught on both of these lakes. Over the past few years the Maigue has seen a good run of Spring Salmon, fish up to 20 lbs have been caught when the conditions are right. Whether you are a beginner or an improver, our resident angling professional Jim Robinson, will provide angling lessons either privately or in a group. All necessary fishing licenses & permits arranged, tackle hire, wet gear & boots. Fishing at Adare Manor is private and is reserved for Guests of the Hotel.

- €45.00 per second hour and every hour thereafter
- Children under 12 €35.00 per hour and €30.00 for the second hour and every hour thereafter
- Tackle, Bait & License for Independent Fishing € 45.00
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
